CALIFORNIA DREAM ACT APPLICATION AVAILABLE NOW- PRIORITY DEADLINE MAY 10, 2012

AB131 effective January 1, 2013 authorizes AB540 students to apply for the State University Grant (SUG) and the EOP Grant.  Effective Fall 2013, AB 540 students may apply for Cal Grants.

Students must meet all other applicable financial aid eligibility requirements such as Satisfactory Academic Progress, GPA, and income requirements to be considered for the various financial aid programs available under the California Dream Act.

We will begin to notify eligible freshman and transfer students about SUG and EOP grant awards for Spring 2013 in late May 2012. Continuing students will be notified in late June 2012.

On April 2nd of this year there’s a possibility of the first form for AB 131.
